Since 2024, Francisco Teixeira has served as Country Manager of WPP in Portugal, where he leads a team of approximately 1,000 consultants. He combines this role with the leadership of WPP Media, the group’s media, data, and technology holding company.

A partner at WPP for the past decade, his journey within the multinational began following the merger of his public relations start-up with the group. For seven years, he led WPP’s public relations agencies in Portugal (Hill & Knowltonand Burson) before transitioning to lead WPP Media.

Earlier in his career, he began as a journalist for media outlets including O Independente, Grupo Renascença, and Diário Económico, before later leading trade and investment missions at AICEP.

His diverse educational background includes studies in Journalism (Technical University of Lisbon), Marketing, Political Marketing (Complutense University of Madrid), Management (Harvard Business School and IESE Madrid), Artificial Intelligence Applied to Business (Saïd Business School, University of Oxford), and ESG (Cambridge Business School).
