Pedro Dias

Pedro Mouzaco Dias is Project Director of the Matosinhos Project, one of Europe’s largest urban regeneration developments, transforming the former Matosinhos refinery site. He has been with Galp since 2002, holding a variety of leadership positions across the organization.

He led the development of Galp’s new headquarters, overseeing the workplace strategy and the relocation of 1,700 employees to the new facilities. Prior to that, he was responsible for Planning & Control within the Upstream business unit, as well as for Strategy & Investor Relations and Treasury & Finance.

He was also a member of the team that led the capital increase of Petrogal Brasil and its related entities, through which China’s Sinopec acquired a 30% stake in the companies, in a transaction reflecting an Enterprise Value of USD 12.5 billion.

In 2006, he served as Project Leader for Galp’s Initial Public Offering (IPO), acting as the primary liaison with global coordinators, legal advisors, analysts, the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM), and Euronext Lisbon.

Before joining Galp, he spent six years in investment banking at Banco Espírito Santo de Investimento (BESI), where he served as Head of Corporate Finance. He later became Head of Investor Relations at Portugal Telecom S.A.

Pedro Mouzaco Dias is 60 years old, married, and the father of two children. He holds an MBA in International Finance from HEC Paris and a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Technical University of Lisbon.
