Susana Albuquerque is the Executive Creative Director and Partner at Uzina, an independent Portuguese agency based in Lisbon. She has also served as President of the Clube da Criatividade since 2017, is a board member of ADCE (Art Directors’ Club of Europe), and sits on the international board of The One Club for Creativity in New York.

At Uzina, she works with brands such as Ikea, Samsung, Mimosa, Nespresso, Aldi, Super Bock, and Caixa Geral de Depósitos, among others. She has been in advertising for 30 years and has been a Creative Director for 20, primarily in Lisbon but also in Madrid, where she lived and worked between 2013 and 2017

She has led creative work that has been awarded at both local and international festivals and has served as a juror at some of the world’s top creativity festivals.

In Portugal’s creative rankings, she was named the #1 Executive Creative Director in both 2022 and 2021. Uzina was named Independent Agency of the Year in 2021 by El Ojo de Iberoamérica and Creative Agency of the Year at the APPM Awards in 2022 and 2024, as well as at the Meios & Publicidade Marketing Awards in 2023.
