Nuno Terras Marques

Nuno Terras Marques was born in Porto, and is married with two children.

With a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Porto and an MBA from Porto Business School, his career has been marked by leadership, innovation, and strategic growth.

He joined Grupo Visabeira in 2012, focusing on New Business Development at Viatel. A year later, he took on the challenge of leading Constructel France and Constructel Belgique, expanding the Group’s presence in telecommunications (fixed and mobile networks) and energy across Europe. His leadership quickly stood out, earning him a place on Grupo Visabeira’s Board of Directors in 2014. By 2015, he was appointed Vice President of the Group and CEO of Visabeira Global, driving the company’s international expansion.

A pivotal moment in his career came in 2017, when he became Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vista Alegre Atlantis, playing a key role in revitalizing this iconic Portuguese brand. That same year, he was named CEO of Grupo Visabeira, overseeing its growth and diversification.

In 2020, as the Group adopted a new dual governance model, he took on the role of Chairman of the Executive Board, leading the company into a new era of strategic development and operational excellence.

With a career dedicated to expanding businesses, optimizing operations, and strengthening international markets, Nuno Terras Marques continues to shape the future of Grupo Visabeira and its global footprint.
