Nuno Sampaio (1974) is an architect, with a degree from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Porto and a master’s degree from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Barcelona.

He was a guest lecturer in the La Gran Escala master’s program at the Escola Tècnica Superior d’Arquitectura de Barcelona (ETSAB). In 2000, he founded the architecture studio “Nuno Sampaio – Architects.” He also served as Vice-President of the Lisbon Architecture Triennale and President of Estratégia Urbana – Laboratory for Innovation in Architecture and the City.

Since 2014, he has been the Executive Director of Casa da Arquitectura, overseeing the direction, programming, and curatorship of what is now recognized as the Portuguese Center for Architecture.
