Nelma Serpa Pinto

Originally from Porto, Nelma Serpa Pinto holds a degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Minho and studied for six months at Universidad Complutense de Madrid through the Erasmus program. She completed her master’s degree in the same field at the Catholic University of Portugal, in Lisbon.

Nelma began her journalism career with internships at TVI and the newspaper Público.

After that, she joined SIC in 2018, where she worked in the Economy section and on the Primeiro Jornal. She is currently the Main Anchor of the “Edição da Noite” on SIC Notícias.
