Gustavo Jesus is a psychiatrist and currently serves as Director of the Department of Psychiatry and Mental Health at ULS Estuário do Tejo, in Vila Franca de Xira, Lisbon. He is also Clinical Director and Board Member of PIN (Partners in Neuroscience).

In academia, he is an Invited Professor of Psychiatry at Católica Medical School and a Visiting Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon.

He holds postgraduate degrees in Health Management from Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics and in Social Health from Católica Lisbon School of Health Sciences.

Gustavo Jesus is the author of several scientific articles, academic publications, and health communication books for the general public. He is also the author of the bestseller “300 mil anos de ansiedade” and co-author of the podcast “O médico dos malucos e outros mitos sobre saúde mental” (Rádio Observador).
