Carla Caracol

Carla Caracol is Head of Human Resources for the Engineering and Construction division of the Proman Group, a multinational organization operating globally in the energy sector.

In this role, she leads the Human Resources function supporting E&C operations across five group companies, with offices spanning three European countries and two in Central America. She plays a key role in developing and aligning people management practices in international and highly complex project environments.

With over 20 years of experience in People Management, she has built her career across diverse sectors, including hospitality, construction, banking and insurance, and media. This broad background provides her with a multidisciplinary, pragmatic, and comprehensive perspective on organizational cultures, work models, and management challenges in highly demanding and varied environments.

She is also a university lecturer and author of articles published in scientific and specialized journals in the fields of Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior, and is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences.

She holds a PhD in Social Sciences, specializing in Organizational Behavior, as well as a Master’s degree in Economic Sociology and Organizations and a degree in Sociology. She also holds postgraduate qualifications in Strategic Human Resources Management and Development, Labor Law, and Business Advisory, along with advanced training in Business Management and Leadership.

She currently serves on the Business Strategic Council of ABRH Brasil (Brazilian Association of Human Resources), is Vice President of DCH Portugal (International Organization of Human Capital Executives), and is also an invited member of Technical Committee 260 – Human Resource Management (ISO).

In 2022, she was recognized with the awards for Best HR Director under 45, Best HR Communicator, and Best Lecturer.
