Rachel Muller
CEO
@ Nestlé Portugal
Rachel Muller has more than 20 years of professional experience, having worked in Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, and Switzerland, with both local and regional responsibilities. She has led multiple businesses, including Coffee, Dairy, Beverages, and Cereals. Her ability to connect cultural trends, sustainability, and business has been a key factor in succeeding in highly competitive markets.
She joined the Nestlé Group in 2010 in Mexico as Dairy Consumer Marketing Manager. In 2014, she was appointed Executive Marketing Manager for Dairy at Nestlé Brazil, and in 2018 she was promoted to Business Executive Officer for Coffee, with responsibility for brands such as Nescafé, Nescafé Dolce Gusto, and Starbucks. In this role, she transformed the coffee business into a new growth pillar for Nestlé Brazil and positioned Nescafé at the forefront of the sustainability agenda.
In January 2022, she added the Beverages & Cereals business to her portfolio, where she led a remarkable transformation by revitalizing Nestlé brands and accelerating the growth of the cereals business. In August 2023, she joined the Zone Latin America Leadership Team in Vevey as Vice President of Operations for South America, with responsibility for Brazil, Chile, the Plata Region, and Peru–Bolivia. In this role, she oversaw categories including Coffee, Chocolate, Cereals, CMB, Ice Cream, and Waters across Latin America, guiding these markets toward growth in a complex and volatile environment.
In February 2025, Rachel Muller relocated from Switzerland to Portugal to become CEO of Nestlé Portugal, managing a portfolio of more than 90 brands and leading a team of over 2,800 employees. These teams are spread across the factories in Avanca and Porto, the headquarters in Linda-a-Velha (Oeiras), the Avanca Distribution Center, and multiple sales offices covering mainland Portugal and the islands.
Born in Brazil, she is married and has one daughter. Over more than two decades of experience, she has achieved outstanding results across multiple countries and categories, driven by a strong belief in the power of human relationships and in building profitable, sustainable businesses with a positive long-term impact.
