Oriol Juvé

Oriol Juvé was born in Barcelona and graduated from the prestigious École Hôtelière de Lausanne. With a career spanning over 20 years in the luxury hospitality industry, he has worked with renowned groups such as Relais & Châteaux, Starwood, Marriott, and currently serves as General Manager of the iconic Six Senses Douro Valley. Oriol has dedicated his professional life to creating authentic, sustainable, and transformative experiences, always with a keen eye for excellence and detail.

Throughout his journey, he has lived and worked in various countries, leading multicultural teams and implementing innovative projects in the areas of wellness, gastronomy, and sustainability. Oriol is fluent in six languages — Spanish, Portuguese, English, French, Italian, and Catalan — reflecting his global profile and natural ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.

Father to Lara and Rafa, who live in Portugal, Oriol splits his time between the Douro Valley and Cascais. Passionate about the ocean, sailing, adventure sports, and mindfulness, he dreams of one day living aboard a catamaran and completing his sustainable retreat in Castelo Branco.

He believes that hospitality goes far beyond service — it’s about creating human connections and inspiring a more mindful way of traveling and living.
