Daniela Simões

Daniela Simões is the co-founder and CEO of miio, a Portuguese technology company focused on electric mobility. miio develops digital solutions for both individual users and businesses, with the goal of simplifying the transition to more sustainable mobility. The company currently operates in seven European markets.

Daniela holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering and Telematics from the University of Aveiro. She co-founded miio in 2019 while still completing her academic studies, combining a strong technical background with a clear focus on product development, user experience, and solving real-world challenges related to electric vehicle charging.

As CEO, Daniela is responsible for defining the company’s global strategy, driving national and international growth, developing strategic partnerships, and overseeing corporate governance.

Daniela has been widely recognized for her contribution to innovation and sustainable mobility, including being featured on Forbes Portugal’s 30 Under 30 list. She is a frequent speaker at conferences, panels, and forums on leadership, sustainability, and the future of mobility.
