Andrew Likierman

Andrew studied at the University of Vienna and Balliol College, Oxford. He has held academic and administrative roles at London Business School, including serving as Dean from 2009 to 2017, and his research focuses on human judgement in leadership and management, with his newest book on the topic released in January 2025.

Andrew’s public sector experience includes ten years as Managing Director at the UK Treasury, where he led a major project transitioning government accounting from cash to accruals, and serving as a director of the Bank of England.

In the private sector, he has held leadership roles and board positions with companies like Barclays Bank, Beazley plc, and Monument. He has also contributed professionally to numerous inquiries and governance committees, including the Cadbury Committee on UK corporate governance and the United Nations governance initiative.
