Rui Maia

Rui Maia has the role of Chief Operating Officer for the combined organizations of Renantis and Ventient Energy, who have joined together to form one of the largest renewable IPPs in Europe, Nadara.

Rui’s career in the renewable energy industry began in 2004, initially focusing on the operations of small hydro power plants and wind farms.

Over the years, Rui has played an important role in the development, construction, and operation of renewable energy assets. He has a wealth of experience leading teams that manage operational assets across multi-geographies, focusing on operational excellence, performance improvement and asset lifetime maximization, including repowering, overpowering and project hybridization.
