Inês Lobo graduated in Architecture from the Escola Superior de Belas Artes in 1989. She is a guest professor, master’s program coordinator, and researcher at DAUAL.
She took part in the Venice Biennale in 2016 with Reporting from the Front and in 2018 with Freespace, and was also the curator of the Portuguese Pavilion in the 2012 edition with the project Lisbon Ground.
Her work has been recognized with several honors, including the title of Officer of the Order of Merit in 1999, the “Women Creators of Culture” award in 2013, the ArcVision International Prize in 2014, and the AICA Prize in 2017, awarded by the Portuguese Section of the International Association of Art Critics.
