Luís Pedro Martins, President of Turismo do Porto e Norte de Portugal, has a long professional and civic intervention career.
Graduated in Design by ESAD and post-graduate studies in Marketing Management from Universidade do Porto.
Luís was a deputy in the National Assembly during 2 legislatures, and has also carried out assistant work for some Government members. He was in charge of Communication and Marketing Departament of Santa Casa da Misericórdia do Porto during 4 years. Between 2014 and 2019, he was the Executive Director of Torre dos Clérigos, having accomplished a remarkable growth on the number of visitors of this city’s icon.
With a large experience in Marketing and Communication, where he is author of more than hundred campaigns, Luís Pedro Martins has extended his activity to different fields, such as teaching Marketing in Porto Business School.
He has huge passion for the region and remains true to the regionalists principles, that have always guided his public intervention.
The Turismo do Porto e Norte de Portugal’s Presidency is his new challenge, at a time when the sector remains absolutely decisive to the national economy.
